Tolerant as I am, no! It is more akin to a predatory Ponzi scheme.

Hell no, which is why discrimination and harassment of Scientologists is perfectly acceptable.

When the founder of a religion says "the best way to make a million dollars is to start a religion" you've gotta wonder - did he found his religion because it's a truth that's been revealed to him, or did he found it to make a quick buck... Scientology is nothing but a scam.

Although I am tolerant of every religious group you can name, Scientology is not one of them. Thus, I vote NO (normal)

Not voting because I have trouble with the valid/invalid religion line.  Is Wicca a valid religion?  Are the modern-day practicers of the Greco-Roman religion valid?  One could argue that no one actually believes in either of those and only joins them to shock society and their relatives.

As "valid" as any of the other religions.

There is no such thing as a "valid" religion, so no.

As "valid" as any of the other religions.

Pretty much.  It's just that this one is much easier to rip apart, because we have significantly more indisputable facts about the religion's genesis.

[I still voted no.]

Those were not designed from the ground up as scams.

(I suppose one could make a mild argument that modern Wicca is since it has no direct connection to the original Wiccans....or at least that's how I understand it)

As has been stated, it's no more valid than any of the other man made religions. So no.

Hell no, which is why discrimination and harassment of Scientologists is perfectly acceptable.

No, it isn't. It's just as unethical and illegal as when the CoS does it.
