Voters were also asked who they would trust more to handle the nation's economy. Of those surveyed, 58 percent said Barack Obama, 31 percent said John McCain and 11 percent were not sure.

The poll was conducted from Oct. 20 through Oct. 21. About 600 likely voters from across the state were interviewed by phone for the survey.
