Gotta love Biden's reaction to her absurd questions.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jxT0ELP7az0

She may have a future career at Fox News once her current station (if they have any journalistic integrity) dumps her.

Why is she a "bimbo?"  She seems intelligent enough and she's a veteran reporter.

She is right-wing though.

This is amusing because usually local interviews are soft, but she decided that she would try and issue the hardest negative interview of the cycle.

The station lost its Jill Biden interview that had been previously scheduled.

Aww, someone asked a Democrat a hard question, so they have a little hissy fit.

Typical Democrat, calling women names like Bimbo.

She was professional, let him have his say and did not interrrupt, and did not engage in debate when he asked her questions.

She was far more professional then Charlie Gibson, the gals on The View, and David Letterman.

Heaven forbid you ask a Democrat some hard hitting questions.

What a horrible "reporter". Joe Biden is incredibly awesome though. I hope he runs for election in 2016.

"Are you joking? Is that a joke? Or is that a real question?" I love that guy.

calling her a bimbo is over the top. Asking politician's tough questions is not bad for journalists. However in this case, she appears to have a bias and that 'marxist' question was a bit much

and check out the softballs she lobbed at McCain

Heaven forbid if a journalist asks a Democrat nominee for President or Vice President some tough questions!  Then, she's a "right-wing bimbo!"

Sorry.  The problem is that "journalists" DON'T ask politicians (especially Democrats) tough questions often enough.  Interviews like this should be the norm, not the exception.  I don't like to see politicians continuously spouting the same old, tired talking points.  It shows me nothing except that they are pre-programmed robots.

Biden did a great job answering. He should try to be President himself in 2016 when Obama ends his term.

These questions are kind of inane, but they're definitely preferable to inane softballs.  They do not make this woman a "bimbo."

The casual sexism on this board is a little screwy.

You have to be kidding me, these were extremely hackish and irrelevant questions. This is like Rachel Maddow asking Palin if McCain's percieved "Fascist" views were damaging to his campaign and then asking if McCain's tax policy was purposely sticking up for big business special interests.

Why are words like bimbo and bitch sexist? Are words like jackass and bastard (derogatory terms generally only applied to men) sexist against men?

Bimbo, as far as I know, doesn't just mean stupid/a jerk like those words do.  It means vacuous, empty and easy (or only 'worth it' sexually).  Dictionary.com seems to agree

I also think that the folks on this board tend to use dumb for women when they'd use jackass for men, but I won't be presumptive.  The 'bimbo' part was all I was going on.

I'd love to see it - not from Rachel Maddow, but from a non-opinion journalist.  I'm sick and tired of politicians being asked the same old softball questions and giving the same tired talking point answers.   Let's see what happens when they are thrown off their game.  You think America's enemies are going to lob softballs in international negotiations?

Biden lied through his teeth about the Obama campaign not giving a penny to ACORN (try 80,000,000 pennies, Joe), but otherwise did a pretty decent job defending the Obama campaign.

And just because Democrats don't like the questions doesn't make them hackish or irrelevant.

The Swedish economic system is pretty different from ours, structurally, in terms of governmental inputs and outputs.

That said, we've been moving towards them and they've been moving towards us for quite a while.

I just saw this and I don't understand the outrage. I'm afraid that after Obama is elected, we'll see a regulation of the media, especially those who oppose him. This is a campaign that writes to the justice department calling for them to go after groups that run attack ads on Obama.
