I don't know if the event was planned beforehand, but if so, releasing this right before Hagan attends the General Baptist State Convention in Fayetteville (top event listed on her web site) is a really dumb move.

I think Dole pulled sort of a Haily Mary gamble (no religion pun intended.) Her internals showed her unable to make it up in the last few days, so pull something big. If it works, it works, if it backlashes, well you would've lost anyway. Right now it's looking like backlash.

It's amazing how someone can be demoted from "incompetent Republican senator" to "human trash" in a mere week.  That said, I am encouraged that Dole is fighting back, and I am going to vote for her enthusiastically now.

Amen.  It was Hagan that brought it on.  People here are ignoring that there is a "godless americans pac".  That's the real issue, not Dole's ad, which was a home run.

Yes, and their leader was one of 40 co-hosters for a fundraiser Hagan attended not even being aware of the "Godless Americans" PAC. Misleading and dishonest doesn't even begin to describe it.
