Toss-up. History says it's lean McCain, but polling and the enthusiasm and organization gap say lean Obama, so average them out.

It's a toss-up. If Obama wins it, it will just be electoral vote padding...he hardly needs it to win this election. I have to say that it's hilarious to see McCain scrambling in a state such as North Carolina, though.

Where are you people getting the NC is lean McCain?
polls show it too close to call, or even lean obama.  I still remember when Jim Hunt led Jesse Helms in polls and lost by a fairly sizable margin.  I'm betting Obama underperforms in NC by 3-4 points, which would make it lean McCain.
