How would then-Minnesota Governor Tim Pawlenty have done if he was John McCain's running mate and had faced Joe Biden in the VP debates? a August 2008 Politico article said that one Republican said that  "A nationally televised Biden-Pawlenty debate “is unthinkable,” said one Republican insider. Would Biden had destroy him in the debates with Biden's oratorical and experience, at the time?

The OP is strangely obsessed with Tim Pawlenty and other "soothing Midwesterners" as he calls them. I think my reaction is appropriate.

Pawlenty after debating Biden would require a lot of

afterward.
