Regardless, I think I feel better about an Obama Presidency than most Democrats.  I find that both funny and sad.

No, because I wasn't overly impressed to begin with.

"The One"... Oh sweet Baby Jesus is that you are calling him?

I already dislike him tbh, well actually not him so much (but I will by next year, believe me) as his supporters and the way he plays up to them. A political cult being the first sign of degeneracy and all that... (not that I'm going to get overly Gibbon here or anything).

I should note that I suspect that Obama will be to the left of Clinton, but not by any sort of ideology - don't be ridiculous -  he doesn't have one beyond the realm of abstract nouns, but because of events. Because like everyone else (though I'm not screaming OMG RECESSION OMG OMG OMG 1929 OMG OMG!1111) I suspect that things will get alot worse over the next four years and most of which is due to factors that even the president can barely control.

I like Obama, I just think that 2009's going to be a catastrophe, so I'm not expecting a great things out of his first year.  I'm hoping by 2011 things calm down enough for "Morning in America Part II."

The joke I am most enjoying right now is...

"Whoever wins this election will demand a recount."

God damn the Democrats for making the word "recount" a feature of our presidential elections, as though narrow elections have never occurred in US history before 2000.
