In fact, to add to this, Chase Utley said just moments ago, "World f--kin' Champions!" at the victory rally at the ballpark. On live TV. The crowd went wild. The networks...eh...not so much.

You guys are right, it doesn't just happen in Philly, but it certainly doesn't happen everywhere, every time a city/state wins something.  It only happens in sh**t stain cities like Detroit, Philly, LA and Miami.  Good company that!

You guys are right, it doesn't just happen in Philly, but it certainly doesn't happen everywhere, every time a city/state wins something.  It only happens in sh**t stain cities like Detroit, Philly, LA and Miami.  Good company that!
although Miami is a shďt-stain city, I've been a part of no less than 4 major sports celebrations here, and haven't seen anything that compares to Detroit.

Few places in the Western Hemisphere are as sh**tstainy as Detroit.  We can replace Miami with Denver I suppose.  I recall them going bat sh**t insane when the 'lanche won a few years ago.

That would be more apt. I was in the thick of it when the Heat won a few years back and didn't see anything except happy people being happy. The real insanity is going to happen when Fidel kicks the bucket.
