Very tough call, but I have to go with Bob Barr, on the grounds that he is running a national campaign rather than a congressional one.

Bob Barr, given that he is so insecure that he feels the need to destroy a third-party and do everything possible to maintain his irrelevence. At least Jim Gilmore is up against an uber-popular opponent.

Remember, Gilmore did run for President.  Then again, maybe you don't.  Plus, Bob Barr didn't nearly destroy an entire State; and at least Barr didn't alter the way his Party chose a nominee, and then nearly lose in that fashion.

Gilmore's a former Governor who is now stuck running as a sacrificial lamb. His name should become a synonym for failure.

Sacrificial lamb?  Hm, never had that kind.  Can you describe to me the taste?

Bob Barr, if only because of the massive hypocrisy.

Rather gamey for my tastes, though I know many people who swear by it.

Bob Barr is a huge hypocrite, and the Libertarian Party is becoming more and more of a joke with each nominee. What is it with them?... Ed Clark's the only one to come even close to a good night.

Gillmore is running against one of that state's most popular political figures. No one would have a chance against Warner.

Bob Barr, because he's the Libertarian who didn't get Ron Paul's endorsement.

Wait, why do libertarians hate Bob Barr all of a sudden?  How he is a massive hypocrite?  What has he done?  Fill me in.

I believe he was all for the War on Drugs until he switched parties, or something like that.

This year I would vote for a generic Libertarian nominee in a heartbeat.  As is, I'm pretty much undecided between McCain and Barr.  Who is the "least worst" candidate?

C'mon, man.  At least McCain was at least a semi-influential senator, who was respected.  You just can't compare him to Barr.

-Support for the War on Drugs
-Support for intervention in Columbia
-Supported the Fed's bailout of Freddie and Fannie
-Praised George W. Bush's leadership at 9/11
-Says he doubts man-made global warming, and then praised Al Gore for his work on climate change
-Snubbed Ron Paul repeatedly during his campaign

It's kind of suspicious that Barr suddenly changes all of his positions just to win the nomination.  I mean, at least Mary Ruwart could have brought some respect into the Libertarian Party.
