http://wcco.com/election/voter.irregularities.allegations.2.857437.html

If these allegations are corroborated by witnesses, this could have a serious bearing on the election results. It's possible that the Coleman's "victory" could be overturned...

First, Coleman faces possible jail time for accepting illegal contributions from his political sugar daddy, an Iranian businessman, and now he's behind efforts to trick Somalia immigrants into voting for him.

Well, we'll see.  Frankly, I'd be pleased in any scenario with Coleman winning.

If Coleman wins the election, but then is forced to resign because of the illegal contributions thing, does Pawlenty appoint someone or do we get a special election?

In a recount, there's bound to be fraud. The Democrats will be much more guilty of this than the Republicans.

He'll appoint someone, but they'd be up in 2010. Good news the GOP bench is pretty weak, who's he going to appoint, Bachmann?

The story you linked is a big fat zero.

I'm hoping someone will find a box of uncounted ballots in Minneapolis. Wink

More likely in one of the northern mining towns.

Before we get too involved with our mental masturbation, allegations that will eventually result in prison terms seldom show up days before the election.

I always thought of MN as being a "clean-elections" type of state. But they will have every opportunity to prove me wrong.

Mower County is basically a colder version of New Mexico.
