I know the News havn't call it yet. But the States Board of Election just got all the votes in and Obama win NC by about 20,000 votes! OBAMA WINS NC!!!!

Edit. Make that 11,000 votes sorry it late and my math is showing it.

Your prediction seemed hackish this summer, but now, that is true.

I wonder which state will be closest: North Carolina, Missouri, or Indiana?

I don't think the votes are there for Obama to win Missouri. I guess this is one election for which Missouri won't be the bellwether.

In a way, I almost hope that McCain wins MO and MT. Barack is going to need a couple states where he can go on "offense" in 2012.

I mean, where else is he going to go on offense other than Arizona?

Good morning, America. Congratulations from Austria on electing Barack Obama from my parents and me.

I still can't really believe that Obama won Indiana and North Carolina.

It seems that Montana will finally go to McCain and St. Louis/Kansas City won't have the neccesary votes left for Obama.

North Carolina was a disappointment that McCrory lost. But props to you, Josh.

Your prediction seemed hackish this summer, but now, that is true.

Congrats...I was one of many that was skeptical at that time, although your prediction was correct and Phil's initial projections on PA were a little exaggerated.

Props for defending your position against criticism from all political angles...

NC might be close enough for an automatic recount and/or late-arriving military absentees changing the result.  IN, not so much.  I doubt NC will change, though.

Good job on predicting NC.

Obama is down by less than 1000 votes in missouri, it's pretty close lol

Missouri will be the closest, but the remaining precincts favor McCain. Most of the votes left are from heavily Republican Christian County, although Obama has a few votes left in Kansas City. McCain should win by 5,000 votes or so.

Montana is hard to say. McCain could still pull away and win it by 5-6 points, or Obama could close the gap and maybe still has a chance of eking out a win.

6% of St. Louis County is still out.  St. Louis County put Obama over the finish line in the Missouri primaries. That could happen again, but I think McCain will eke out a narrow victory.

St. Louis County is all in.  The only two that are partially out are Christian (south of Springfield) and Dunklin Counties (SE MO, near Arkansas).   Both are going heavily McCain so far.

McCain should hold Missouri, subject to any recount or absentees changing the results.

Absentees, perhaps.  The state has a number of huge military bases.  It also might be close enough for a recount.

100% appears to actually be 100%, not 99.51% or whatever.

Yup, it really does look like you were right about both the Presidential and Senatorial results in your home state and, more importantly, you stood by your projections no matter how much ridicule it brought you.  Will you except my accolades? Tongue

But, again, seriously good job *thumbs up* Grin
