Plus I think it's too early to be registering for something that takes place in the SUMMER. I mean....when will this close? You're going to keep it open for 4 months? Or will you close it in a week or two..leaving new members who sign up in late spring and early summer with no opprotunity to vote.....I think we're jumping the gun here.........

That was my thought.  Now that I think about it, shut down this thread.  Give Nym a chance to govern before he needs to worry about this crap again.  I retrct my registration.

Well I was an independent up until a few months ago when I decided to register as a democrat so I could vote in the primary (CT has closed primaries even though 44% of voters are independents).  So I am not sure if I would fit more with the democrats or progressives, I usually split my vote between the democrats and the greens.  LOL!

Thank you again, supersoulty, for pulling this up for me.   With this post, I will reach the 18-post requirement for voter registration.  Therefore, I am officially registering at this time.  As a Democrat, if that matters.

Have you looked at the Progressive Party?
