Burner hasn't had a chance since the Seattle Times decided to put a bullet in her head.

In LA-2, Moreno lost to (gag) incumbent Congressman Jefferson

Looking at a photo of Moreno, I don't think that that outcome was ever much in doubt.

Of course; everyone 'round these parts saw it coming a mile away.

McClintock is up by 700 now.  Way to run up those margins in Lassen and Modoc counties!

Charlie Brown (Dem)   155,807   49.8%
Tom McClintock (Rep)   156,516   50.2%

Brown's campaign claims thousands of votes are still due from my own Nevada County (where Obama was the first Dem to carry it since LBJ) and one assumes Brown endures some measure of support from there.

In my predictions, I got each and every one of these outstanding races wrong: OH-15, VA-5, WA-8, CA-4, and AK-AL.  There will be a special, self-centered joy if any of those turn out to be flipped back into the other party's column.

You probably got OH-15 right.  Expect Kilroy to pull ahead when the provisionals are counted.

In WA-08, Reichert is now ahead by 5,332 votes with 71% in, and more importantly 77% in from King County, and Reichert is ahead by 369 votes there.

Unless this last 23% from King County strongly favors Burner, WA-08 is over.  I personally think it is (if I remember how this race has gone before).

In MD-01, Kratovil is up by 2,003 votes, or 0.5%. Apparently the counties only count part of the absentees this week, and the rest will be counted on the 14th. Regardless, I don't think there's any way Harris can win now.

Edit: AP called it. http://wjz.com/local/district.absentees.2.858564.html

More ballots from Lassen and Sacramento Counties.  McClintock's lead is up to 889 votes.  No word from Nevada County, which makes up nearly all of Brown's lead.

Here's my tally, from the SoS and county web pages:

County       Brown    McClintock   Margin
Butte        6,974    7,616        -642
El Dorado    36,192   36,693       -501
Lassen       4,034    6,911        -2,877
Modoc        1,600    2,697        -1,097
Nevada       25,125   18,589       6,536
Placer       70,322   72,365       -2,043
Plumas       5,603    5,145        458
Sacramento   5,531    6,262        -731
Sierra       979      971          8

Total        156,360  157,249      -889
