what is going on in Alaska

is it the people?
is the candidates
or are democrats in really bad shape?

the candidate for the senate was solid..best for a long time. what is going on i blame the people totally corrupt.

or was it simple sarah palin?

It seems perfectly rational to me for someone who wanted to keep the Alaska senate seat in GOP hands to vote for Stevens.  It doesn't make you "corrupt" for doing so, as Stevens is never going to be seated anyway.  Voting for Stevens was the equivalent of voting for a special election, in which you'd have some other Republican choice besides Stevens.

^, and I'm going to go with a combination of Palin's coattails and a ridiculous electorate for saving Don Young.
