Kerry's Iraq speech

Kerry just finished giving a speech at NYU on Iraq.  It was 25 minutes of Bush bashing with no Kerry plan for the future other than more statements that he will bring in foreign aid.

I have a few questions I would appreciate answers to:

1- Why NYU?  Major speeches for national coverage should be done in battleground states.

2- He kept saying Bush has recently gone to the UN to have it pressure members to send troops and aid to Iraq.  He then says no one has responded.  How would he get them to change their minds?  

3- What else would be part of the Kerry plan?


Did anyone else see the speech and have any comments?

He offered his own four-point plan starting with pressing other nations for help:
- Get more help from other nations.
- Provide better training for Iraqi security forces.
- Provide benefits to the Iraqi people.
- Ensure that democratic elections can be held next year as promised.

Ummm . . . can someone tell me how this is different from what Bush has been trying to do???
