Left did better than the recent polls. Smiley

Lol, Müller's on the ARD livestream claiming he has a mandate since his is the largest party. LMAO.
Now he says the last result isn't comparable because it came apart under "very special circumstances" - these consisting in 0% turnout I suppose.

New Saar projection (they :

CDU 34.2
SPD 25.1
Left 21.2 (11)
FDP 9.2 (5)
Green 5.6 (3)

No red-red without the Greens, that might be an option in Thuringia. My bad. Sorry, didn't take down the early seat figures.

Oh, and the ARD told us that counting on the Saar is faster than elsewhere, but not why (one vote vs two votes).

Based on results in so far, as opposed to a projection, CDU-FDP majority in Thuringia and Greens under 5%.

I'm almost sure they are not. Whether the NPD is in or not is a separate question.

Left-SPD ahead of CDU-FDP now. NPD a handful of votes over 5%.

Thuringia. They say Left is gaining.

CDU 31.7
Left 27.5
SPD 18.5
FDP 7.4
Green 5.7
NPD 4.7

Government has a projection of direct seats: CDU 30 (-9), Left 12 (+7), SPD 2 (+2). Meaning no overhang seats.

That's (theoretically) enough for red-red.

The last time when it give a Red-Red Majority in Thüringen (1923) sends President Ebert the Reichswehr. Is the Bundeswehr still in the barracks? Grin
