I will not be seeking any elective office in June.

Never mind. I did not want to hear that at all.

Just what we need? The Game has been boring without someone with a yellow Avatar in elective office to stir things up.

Anyone actually willing to debate an issue is more than welcome in the Senate, as far as I'm concerned.

There are two types of Senators, those who debate, and those who create debate. SPC does the latter.

(RB walks to the stage, flanked by SPC)

Ladies and Gentleman,

I stand before you with Atlasia at a crossroads. We can either continue down our current path, or you can choose reform. It is a choice that Atlasians must make, and I am confident you will make the correct one. I see the problems of Atlasia all around. I have fought for Atlasians my whole life. I have dedicated my life to try to serve the Atlasian people. Thats why I stand here and announce my candidacy for the at-large senate seat in August.

(Crowd goes wild)

It will not be an easy fight but it is a fight I know I must partake in. SPC and I will work to clean up Atlasia and restore it to it's past prominence. We will be diligent but thoughtful; tough but fair; and compromising yet unyielding. That is why we ask for your vote in August. With that vote, you will have chosen reform and rejected the politics of the past. Thank you and may Dave bless Atlasia.

(Crowd goes wild again)

Ah, so SPC is the idea man of Atlasia. Comes up with an idea and let's everyone else do all the work? Wink

I have two months to do that. Since I've had a sore arm for the last few days (long story), I'll wait until a better time.

While I wish you luck SPC, I am still irked that you threw your own race last time handing victory to a Senator who then went MIA and was thrown out of the Senate. Nothing since then has assured me that you would not such a thing again.

But without him doing that, I would've never come to the Senate :-P

Such a move was made because I was not sure if I would be able to fill out my term. Thus, I find that the outcome was ironic.

PRESS RELEASE

If I am elected Senator, the first piece of legislation I plan to introduce will be an amendment to the OSPR to make Senators give a constitutional justification for all of their bills. Here is a rough draft:

Enumerated Powers Resolution
Article III, Section 2, Clause 6 shall be inserted into the OSPR to read: Any Senator introducing legislation into the Senate floor shall cite the section in the Constitution that allows this legislation in the legislation.

Here is how I would vote on current legislation:
Absentee Voting Bill - Nay
LGB Dignity Bill - Nay

Nuclear Waste Reprocessing Bill - Aye
Atlasian National Healthcare Bill - Nay
2009 Atlasian Relief and Recovery Bill - Nay
Identifying Crime Bill - Nay

Unnecessary and paranoid. Issues of Constitutionality should be taken up with the courts if you actually think they're necessary.
