To all: there will be no GOP gubernatorial contest.  Due to a gentlemen's agreement between Bob McDonnell and Bill Bolling, the two have agreed to run as a team, with McDonnell running for Governor as Bolling runs for another term as Lt. Governor.

So, that having been said, let me be the first to endorse Bob McDonnell in the event Terry McAuliffe wins the Democratic nomination:

McAuliffe winning the (D) nomination would quite possibly be the gayest thing ever to occur in U.S. history

No, the gayest thing in U.S. history was James Buchanan. The second gayest was J. Edgar Hoover.

This would be the third gayest thing.

All his primary opponent needs to do is keep pointing out how much of a Hillary whore he was. That won't play well with the blacks, or in the state in general considering the primary results.

Indeed. Obama carried whites and hispanics in the primary.

Long-term Clinton friend, expert moneyraiser (I heard him speak once, and he said he was a top guy at the DNC's fundraising arm before finishing his undergrad).  Was Dick Gephardt's fundraising director in 1988.  Chair of the DNC from 2001-2005, and responsible for the Party's gorgeous new headquarters.  Head of the Hillary Clinton campaign.

I'm neutral on this...except to say that I think there are better candidates than Terry.  After all, this image is bound to turn up:

EDIT:

Watch this clip:

Followed by this clip:

And remember that this is on a morning show that runs about 7 AM.

One of my favorite memories of the 2008 election is the Clinton campaign's embrace of the bottle.  Remember that speech Clinton gave in front of a bunch of Maker's Mark?

He was complete failure as DNC chairman. Thank god Dean cleaned up his mess.
