Ok, but is hell red or blue? It matters you know. I think some of you guys would like to color hell blue, whereas Im sure everyone else would color it red.

Tories are in blue, the UMP is in blue....
Aren't Canada's conservatives and Australia's National Party in blue ?
CDU-CSU is in black (a dark blue, sort of...).

Do US MSM even know why they have chosen red for GOP and blue for Dems ?
Because of rednecks ?

2000 was the first time that all of the major networks arrived at the same color scheme... Since then, they have been consistent. The recount and following political chatter soldified the hold.

If people want to change it on this site, they should well know that we are dependent on Dave's maps, which he has been coloring (correctly) this way since the 80s
