Love him....in a purely heterosexual way of course.

I would sure hope so.

Obviously has some very unappealing aspects, but I find him entertaining and articulate. For what it's worth.

Actually Biden is a reasonably handsome older man.

I voted freedom fighter, though obviously he is so only relative to the low level of fighting for freedom found in american politics.  He's inadequately liberal, viewed absolutely.

FF.

His frequent gaffes do not make him a horrible person, only a normal human who makes errors and isn't perfect.

Massive FF.  He was a good Senator from the State of Delaware, and a great third Senator from Pennsylvania.  He will make an even better Vice President.  His gaffes actually make me support him more in the fact that he is human and not afraid to show us he's human.  Yes, they get him into trouble at times, but more often than not, they actually HELP his favorability ratings by showing he is human and "just like them".  I think his 36-years of travelling back and forth on the train from Wilmington to DC every day to go to work has paid off, as well.

freedom fighter, though I disagree with a lot of his policies, his heart's in the right place, and he's got guts.  he was the only Democratic prezcandidate not to vote to cut off war funding.
if every politician were half as decent as Joe Biden in their campaigning we'd be a whole lot better off.  i love how when he heard about Obama's ad criticizing McCain as an old fogie, he told Couric "oh, that's horrible. . . "

The more I find out about him, the more I find myself liking the guy (although not all of his positions). He strikes me as an honest, decent sort of a guy.

Biden would have made a great candidate for president, but unfortunately he wasn't a charismatic black man.

No because his voting record would be picked apart and the secret would be out that he's a foreign policy klutz.  This is one of the rare occasions where Obama's lack of experience is a benefit.

I guess, but with McCain's idiotic campaign it's hard to believe they could've made anybody look bad. Every attack McCain made backfired, especially since they were so timed and inconsistent.

He is a good guy. If he can get choked up on stage then he is in touch with his feelings. That is good. FF.

FF.  Anybody who's been through what he's been through is an FF, even if I disagree with his politics.
