Who would've guessed that the biggest sh**thole in America was in South Dakota?  I would've thought New Jersey or Mississippi myself.
New Jersey has its problems, but excessive poverty is not one of them.  Camden County is probably the poorest, other horrendous places like Paterson and Newark have large affluent areas like Wayne and Chatham in their counties to balance out
