When I first got to Tech School out of Basic Training they let you have an advance on your next pay check so you can buy things (or something like that).  They apprently round to the nearest dollar for the advance and there was 15 cents leftover.  When the next pay period came around, they mailed me a check for 15 cents.  Stamps were cheaper in 1995 than now, but they were still more than that Smiley
