OMG OPTICAL SCAN AND PAPER BALLOTS ARE SUUOOO AWEZOME CUZ WE CAN RECOUNT THEM! OMG!

Electronic voting is the only accurate and non-ridiculous way to vote in the 21st century.

Accurate? Ha. I guess you missed all of those issues people were having in West Virginia this time around (just for example).

Coleman is expanding his lead.

Democrats need to find more ballots

Don't worry, the SOS will eventually "find" 500 votes all for Franken in the back of a pickup truck.  I have no doubt about it.

Oh please. These Dems clearly don't know how to steal an election.

What could possibly be the basis of the challenge there?

This is excellent news. I had all but reconciled myself to loss.

It was inevitable and you know it.

Oh no, I really thought he'd steal this one. Fortunately, we stole it instead.

This is one reason to like a runoff system for major races. The revote will usually remove any idea that one side or the other "stole" the election. It also gives the 3rd party voters a chance to decide what (if anything) they want to do with their vote.

That certainly would have made the most sense in this situation.

I guess this will probably go down as the most entertaining race of the year (non-Presidential at least).

Will this end at some point in this century?

If Franken wins, this will be the greatest example of election stealing in American history.  Republicans should play this up for years
O rly?

I don't really consider that election "stolen".  That election was given away as part of a compromise, most likely if vote counting continued Tilden would have won.

And for those who say 2000, I'd love to see the point where Al Gore lead by 800 votes as Coleman did

I fail to see how counting absentee ballots amounts to a stolen election. Is counting all the votes a bad thing now?
It has nothing to do with that its incidents like the 100 ballots they happened to find for Franken

Do you have some ''insider info'' regarding that situation that the rest of us haven't heard about?

Let the snow fields of Minnesota be stained crimson with Coleman's blood. This is the point where he gets washed clean from history's weave.

You really are a gem, Aizen.

These guys are morons!

And this is the guy who wrote Lizard People on his ballot:

I'm interested to see what Franken can pull off as a U.S. Senator. The likely answer to my question is "not much" but we'll see. It'll be pretty entertaining whether he's successful or not.
