I guess Mississippi...at least they have some culture....although I'd probably kill myself before having to make such a decision.

At least in Okie, you won't to rish heat exhaustion between April and October if you live west of Oklahoma City.

Oklahoma, because of some elements of liberal/punk/indie culture while Mississippi has none.

I think my answer ought to be obvious.  At least we're not near as poor as Mississippi.  Plus, we actually have things to do in Oklahoma.  We also have a large city (Oklahoma City) and another moderately-large city (Tulsa) while Jackson, MS is barely a moderately-small city.  The only thing Mississippi really has is the Memphis wannabe's and a beautiful Gulf Coast.  Both states have rich, rich history, both different and equally interesting and important to this country's history.

Now, I'll wait for Harry's whip.

Um.... neither?

Oklahoma - searing hot in summer and freezing in winter.... tornado alley... and well yeah, too socially conservative.

Mississippi - oppressive humidity - well closer to the GCoast - oppressive people.

Coin toss: Well... Mississippi wins.

Mississippi built itself a metropolis and cultural capital just outside the state boundaries, so the comparison isn't exactly fair.
