The Irish Times named my Uni as university of the year recently. Whatever that means exactly I'm not too sure.

But on most of these lists UCD finishes second, which proves that uni-ranking lists are a joke. UCD is the Ryanair of universities. (I admit this reference will slip most people here ie. Americans by, perhaps "the Walmart of universities" would be the closest equivalent)
