Stupidest holiday ever, in my opinion.

Any holiday created to "give a Black alternative to the existing holiday and give Blacks an opportunity to celebrate themselves and history, rather than simply imitate the practice of the dominant society" is just ridiculous.

Holidays created simply for racial groups are just ridiculous in my opinion anyway.

A few of my white friends celebrated with one of my black friends and his family once. I didn't have any interest in taking part but my opinion of it isn't much different than my opinion of most "holidays".

Its mixed.
