Not really, in the grand scheme of things you're a Democrat. Though you could fit in with the (dying) New England Republicans if you wanted to.

On another note, this is, what, the fiftieth time we've had "What is NDN/Mint?" "Is NDN/Mint a Democrat?" "Where does NDN/Mint stand?" threads? Just bump one of those.

I support policies like minimum wage, universal healthcare, etc. so I'm sort of disqualified. Automatically.

You should hope to be kicked out.  Then you can start a militant right-wing splinter group called The Mints - complete with lime green berrets.

When did the first happen? I seem to recall you being opposed to the minimum wage for quiet a long time.

I think Will Rogers put it best:

"I don't belong to any organized political party, I'm a Democrat."

Well, it would be more accurate to say I support indexing it. I actually think the market would naturally set appropriate wage rates on its own, but getting rid of it is never going to happen so it might as well rise with inflation. Otherwise you wind up with the opposite of what was intended.

Regardless I'm happy to see you moderated on that issue a bit.
