Yes, by definition.  Though Democrats are too far right to be much good, they are always, every time, better than their extreme right alternates.

Yes.

Bush during his eight years as President has set the standard very low, thus even if Obama performs worse than anticipated by the American electorate he'll still be considered a far superior President compared to his predecessor George W. Bush.

Depends which Obama we get.

If we get pre-election Obama, with his ridiculous tax policy and spending proposals -- NO

If we get post-election Obama, who's surrounding himself with Geithner, Summers, Orzag, Romer, Volcker, and the like -- YES

I think/hope post-election Obama is here to stay, so I'm leaning toward YES.
