What happens to the Democrats field if Edwards had won the Iowa Cacuses (he was in a close three way race  and ultimately finished second with 29.7% of votes and third in delegates with 14)? Does the Rielle Hunter scandal sink his ship before the General Election or during the General Election?

Hillary wins NH, Obama wins SC, the nomination goes to Obama.
