We have three of us (although I'm the only one in the district currently). So let's start a thread!

I'm not sure if this new tendency to appeal to the apparent inherent evil of Xahar in all things even remotely related to forum policing or this damn game is especially helpful.

I'm back in the district for winter break! (Though I'm keeping my avatar D-LA for uniqueness.) We are the best district. We may not be as rich as CA-14 but we have spirit and numbers.

We may have three from WA-06 (I know we have two). I'd have to check through the long list of Washington posters though.

Who says you need three? PA-13 doesn't have three and look how that thread turned out.

PA 13 has several forum members. Most of them are gone now besides myself and Flyers.

But you and Flyers managed to keep it going just the same. You too must be skilled at talking about minute details of Schwartz vs Brown compared to Hoeffel vs. Brown or something. And look I figure out what was wrong with the smiles. I wasn;t leaving enought space.

There's two forumites in CA-8. Maybe I should start a CA-8 thread.

Well, looks like Honda ain't getting Secretary of Education (which he was pushing for). Looks like him and his shiny seat on Appropriations will be here for a while longer.

Not surprising, he had no real close ties to Obama or his people and waffled on endorsing him until June 3. He surely would have been better for the position than some of the names thrown out there (Kennedy, Powell) but hey that Appropriations gig is pretty cushy.
On an education note my old high school district (and the one Honda used to teach at) plans to cut every single sport program altogether. Sadly this is just $2.1 million out of the $11 million total in proposed cuts to get out of the red. They are so screwed.

All of them? This I can't imagine. What district are you referring to? I'm almost certain Sunnyvale was in the FUHSD when Honda taught there.

Well to be fair, Salazar is getting a post and he did the same thing.
Sorry to here that. Things were bad a few years ago too: a high school had to do a giant fundraiser to save 7th period.
