http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Culbert_Olson

I hadn't even heard of this guy until bgwah posted the link in another thread. He seems a bit extreme at times with the anti-Catholic thing, and the support of internment camps is obviously disappointing, but overall this guy sounds like a supermassive FF.

Massive FF. I'm tired of Holy Mother Church whining about discrimination when it has been an expert in that field for twenty centuries.

Relatively speaking, yeah. That's like saying that a riot is better than a revolution - not if you're the one that feels the impact of it.

I'm not trying to be 'edgy', dumbass. I have strong philosophical objects to religion, and the Christian religion even more particularly. The entire thing smacks of an effort by certain segments of society during certain historical epochs to mount a psychological resistance against their conquerors by undermining their value-system.

So does that give you the right to attempt to force secularism on everyone?

I'm not trying to force anything on anyone; that countermands my entire ethos. What I'm trying to do is prevent a cabal of decrepit hierophants from forcing their religion on me. And that the libertarian Right has for so long been an accomplice to this culturally murderous policy belies their lack of good-faith with their own rhetoric. For them, it always comes down to money.
