Which states do you think Biden had a positive or a negative effect in?

Biden was more popular with older people, so maybe he got more votes out of Florida?

Personally, I don't think Biden had any real direct impact.

Biden's purpose was to weaken the Republicans' attack on Obama's "lack of experience". Biden was able to calm some people down....and to retain people that had already been leaning softly toward Obama.

I wouldn't name any specific state here, it's just a general effect.

He appears to have had an impact in Delaware and also Scranton, PA.

Biden also has a long-standing good relationship with the Jewish community, which was on the fence as to whether or not to back Obama until the VP picks were made.

Overall Biden's effect was pretty small, but it was positive.

Biden had a positive impact. He connected with a lot of voters very nicely, and deserves more credit. Without Biden, Pennsylvania, and others would have been closer.

Delaware and maybe Maryland. Not Pennsylvania that much, since Obama was already going to win there.

I definitely think Biden helped in Lackawanna County and even pulled Paul Kanjorski over a fierce Lou Barletta challenge because of the Dem surge there.

I think that was it.  Ridge would have the perfect VP candidate, though Palin had a shot really energizing Central PA.  It was possible, but it didn't happen.

Not enough people live in Central PA. Bush destroyed there in 2004, way overperformed McCain in the SE, and still lost the state.
