Why do they keep picking people from New Jersey of all places to head the EPA?

Holder is the one most likey to generate significant Senate opposition at this time.

I think "significant" is overstating it a bit. I do not think there is any question of his approval by the Senate. It may be a round of Republican bashing during the hearings, but I have a problem with thinking that the Marc Rich ordeal will prove to be anything more than a point with which to get in punches without backing them with any real action.

Threre are three areas where Holder has problems.

First, he is totally opposed to the right to keep and bear arms.

Second, he will be grilled about his dealings with Blago.

Third, his invovement in the Rich pardon scandal.

Holder is the one most likely to generate significant Senate opposition at this time.

There are three areas where Holder has problems.

First, he is totally opposed to the right to keep and bear arms.

Second, he will be grilled about his dealings with Blago.

Third, his involvement in the Rich pardon scandal.

First, that doesn't rank anywhere towards the top of the list when Mukasey would barely answer about water-boarding.

Second, his dealings with Blago? Do you mean his need to recuse himself from the case? That doesn't really seem to be a problem for confirmation.

Third, I addressed above.

First, maybe for you, total opposition to the right to keep and bear arms may be unimportant, but a lot of people disagree.

Second, you mean you don't know Holder's history with Blago?

Third, its the liberals who are most upset about the Rich pardon.

Oh, and Holder wants to do everything he can to destroy the counter terrorism efforts.

Holder doesn't support the right to keep and bear arms? Good!

He's also opposed to the death penalty, for what it's worth.
