I don't think Palin will do it, but good for her if she does.

It would be poetic for Palin to primary both Murkowski's.

Palin would scare me more in the Senate, but she would add some amusement.

I refuse to trust any polling of Alaska.

Usually the reason not to trust it is because Alaskans have lately loved the goddamned GOP brand beyond belief, no?

I mean, it took an epic scandal and 7 guilty counts in a federal court for Stevens to barely lose.

My skepticism over Alaska is that I don't think Alaskans will accept a conservative Democrat in opposition to Murk.  In most of the South, I suspect that someone in Murk's situation would be toast to someone like Musgrove or Pryor or Nelson.

Like, I think it might be possible that Idaho or Utah would be more willing to jettison an unpopular (read: hated but no convictions) GOP senator than Alaska...

Reid better let Begich bring home massive bacon

One of the likely candidates for the Democratic nomination is named "French?" Haha, oh, I'll have fun with that.

By the way, it's great seeing Murkowski owned in the primary.

Not really.  Palin just has to be on the ballot in Alaska to win...

Can someone explain to me what happened in the last 3 weeks that made Palin so unpopular?  Is this just bad polling or am I missing something?

According to the most recent poll (see the other Alaska poll: https://uselectionatlas.org/FORUM/index.php?topic=90968.0) Murkowski now leads 57-33.  My question is what happened in these 3 weeks that resulted to this change?
