For sure. I'd like to see the original source of that though (ie: the webpage where it was initially displayed).

Almost every piece of effective campaign imagery is reminiscent of Nazism. The reason being that the Nazis were so damn good at it. It's a shame, really.
Even though I didn't vote for Obama, I think that's a cool poster.

So it actually is a real poster that was bought en masse by Obamaphiles after the election. If it wasn't for the MoveOn URL, I would've been convinced when I first saw it that Republicans designed it to illustrate the personality cult and make Nazi comparisons because's it just so ridiculously over the top. Can't believe some of his supporters were actually stupid enough to design that.

Reminds me of various stores throughout Minneapolis that have tons of posters in the windows with that portrait of Obama and then "HOPE" in the rainbow lettering below. And it was several identical posters. Look personality cultish. I should put up pictures. Of course it didn't disturb me one bit.

I think it looks cool. Reminded me more of an old campaign poster from the 19th century than anything Nazi.

Remember when people flipped out when I said that this guy would be idolized like Che? I didn't say he would actually be like Che the man but people didn't want to hear my explanation.
For whatever odd reason, there's not much outrage when his worship is seen as Nazi-esque. Interesting.

This is a silly concept. Why is it that any well designed piece of media put forth by the Obama camp must be compared the nazis/communists. Grow up.

This is not remotely reminiscent of anything printed before ca.1965.
Or (excluding reprints) between 1975 and 2007.

Clearly the solution is to privatize presidential elections.
So, in less than four years, get excited for the 2016 MetLife Financial U Pick The Prez Extravaganza. If you tweet a picture of your completed ballot with the hashtag #ivoted, you could win a trip for two to the inauguration or an iTunes gift card.

LOL
its Political marketing sure people like Hitler used stuff like this but so haven't other American politicans , I think the comparison Phil made of Che gravera is more accurate I think a lot of the obama's campaign marketing is similar to that. this doesn't make obama similar to Hitler because Obama is not a dictator or a Nazi. I hope people don't just throw out unfounded Hitler accusations over something as dumb as political marketing.
I remember talking to somebody on youtube who said that obama is just like Hitler, Stalin or famous cult leader Jim Jones, only because he was charismatic and could give a good speech I told him that those comparison's where totally ridicules.
Obama is NOT Hitler.

Garbage. Ronald Reagan is the most undeservedly lionized figure in Western culture this side of Christ. When a group of devotees make a concerted effort to put Obama's face on Mount Rushmore, get back to me.

You don't think that there will be an effort to get Obama on currency, have streets/buildings named after him, etc. just because he's the first black President? Get a clue, dude.
Plus, do me a favor and look how many things have been named after JFK. Reagan will never compare to that.
