This is the accompanying amendment to the Secret Ballot Bill currently at final vote. The amendment is fairly simple, it moves the requirements in the constitution that elections to the Senate and the Presidency should have public post voting requirements.

The amendment will require 2/3 support here before going to the people.

Any questions?

I would urge the Senate to vote against this amendment.

Final Tally

Aye: 6 (Lewis, PiT, Torie, AndrewCT, Al, Lief)
Nay: 3 (DWTL, HappyWarrior, SPC)
Abstain (Did not vote): 1 (Bacon King)

With six in favor, three opposed and one abstaining, the amendment is in imminent danger of not passing.

What? The amendment has technically timed out?

What? I'm forgetful and haven't closed the vote yet?

What? You can motion to extend debate for 72 hours, thus allowing Bacon King to vote on it?
