As I said elsewhere, here's to a safe, prosperous and blessed 2009.

Oh my God. My friend insisted on playing that on YouTube tonight and wouldn't shut up about it. It's so horrible. I remember when he came back a few years ago and I was in horror. God be with him.

As I mentioned in JS's thread - I was planning on popping one of these up for the east coast of Aust midnight, but went to bed instead (I actually rather hoped that Antarctic or one of our other kiwi posters would beat me to it, but anyway).

I hope you all have a wonderful, blessed and safe 2009.

Radio-Canada's 2008 "Bye-Bye" shows was an epic fail. Boring as hell. Racist slurs, high OPM (Ostie per minute)/CPM (calis per minute) rate, stupid jokes, hockey crap, and 1960s singers.

The 2007 bye-bye was great, but they changed comedians and now it's made of fail all the way. The "comedians" who wrote the scripts should be fired for incompetence.

Radio-Canada=fail. Canadian TV in general=fail.

Done ranting. Happy new year! Wink

How is a high OPM and CPM rate fail? I'm assuming they don't censor them words on the radio. Personally, I love Quebec profanity. I use it instead of swearing in English half the time.

Anyways, I don't really remember last night very well. My knee really hurts though.

I'm not a fan of vulgar idiots who feel the need to swear every two words to make a joke or make a point.

Anyways. It was on TV, and not on radio. Radio-Canada almost always refer to TV.

Oh yeah, my bad. I usually just refer to it as SRC so as to avoid confusion.
