Unfortunately, I believe only one Virginia voter has taken a position.

Your love for that stupid bitch that basically resulted in the Democrats on the forum turning against you when you refused to get behind Obama.

Ben is more of a Southern moderate type than  Clinton whore type....

Except he's not from the South.

If you do, the Republican comments on this thread provide a hint as to why you shouldn't.

I don't think McAuliffe would be an automatic loser in a general election.  I just think he's the worst person ever to have lived.

A good thing though. That means his chances are basically zero. I'd be worried if Walter was mocking him.

I don't support him, but I'm going to go out on a limb and catapult myself to Forum Enemy No. 1.

I kind of like the guy.

Why do people on here hate him so much?

Some Democrats hate him because they associate him with the party's defeats in 2000, 2002 and 2004 when he was Chair even though it's not the Chair's job to win elections (that goes to the DCCC and DSCC heads and the campaign managers), the Chair's job is to raise money. And McAuliffe was very good at raising money. McAuliffe also modernized the party's databases and lists of voters and emails up from virtually nothing. McAuliffe is nothing more than a victim of guilty by association, in more ways than one.

The only legitimate gripe the left has with him is he's anti-union in some ways. However seeing as he got his start as a business owner this is no surprise.

I used to be one of the McAuliffe haters. In fact I assumed that he would be a boring, tired old man with his age and lack of dynamism well apparent. Then I heard him speak at a promotion for his book "What a Party" and realized that my preconceived notions were wrong.

Then there was also his inane whoring for Hillary, like arguing Obama should not get any delegates from Michigan.
