Romney is technically qualified, but I don't think the Obama administration would want to pick someone who may run against him in 2012.

But my provision is that Romney agrees not to run for President in 2012.


I missed that sorry. It is slightly more plausible, but Obama will probably find some Democratic politician or a non partisan to fill the spot. Mainly because picking Romney would piss off the Democratic establishment.
