I've been offered a job as political editorial columnist for the Central Michigan Life and I've decided to take it.  My first piece is supposed to be on the future of the Republican party, so I'll get a chance to discuss my ideas and how I think the party can/needs to fix itself.

So - this should be fun!

I've been writing political stories for my school newspaper for over a year now, & I must say it's been great fun. Of course, there isn't much to write about nowadays.

Inks, I am proud of you!  Even though I will probably disagree with most of your editorials, I am so glad you're among those who care enough about politics to enter the fray.

Keep us posted on how you are doing and God bless!

Apparently, since I have to file paperwork with some payment office.  But I would've done it for free just to get a conservative-leaning person in the paper.  The paper really is filled with some liberal hacks (they did something about McCain being "Viagra's next spokesman"), and even my very liberal roommate says that they go over the top in liberal hackishness (this is my Kucinich, Michael Moore, Ralph Nader supporting roommate).
