All these candidates are declaring for 2010, and this tub of lard still can't decide about 2009.  Does he finally pull the trigger or does the GOP hand Corzine four more years uncontested?

Is Christopher Christie the man in your signature? I am sure that he will run, he simply has not yet announced.

What are his political views by the way? What chance does he have to kick Jon Corzine out?

Yeah, he's the guy in my signature.  To be honest, other than generic conservative his political positions are not well-known.  He's really only known as the guy who puts everyone, and I mean everyone, in jail

I doubt Christie has the physical ability to run anywhere.

I hope that he runs, just so NJ can claim to have elected someone relatively honest within as long as anyone can remember. Tongue

     Will he run? Probably.

He can run for short distances, it just causes a lot of uncomfortable chafing.

Yes, though, Chris Christie is running.  If Republicans can't do anything with his candidacy against a heavily wounded Corzine, they should just pack up shop and move to some other state.

I don't want him to run simply because he looks like the kind of guy to not sign a gay marriage bill. Smiley

Corzine wouldn't sign one either.

He voiced his support, as I recall. Or was that a comment on the likelihood of it passing the legislature?

Whoever the governor is probably won't make much difference on it passing legislature. But yeah, Corzine said he'd sign a gay marriage bill.

I disagree. Republicans should challenge everywhere, every state, district, county. Its an age old political trick and Republicans have been to stupid to try and use it or prevent the dems from using against us

I guess the most relevant question is: Is there any real difference between supporting gay marriage and pushing the issue under the carpet every chance you get and opposing gay marriage and pushing the issue under the carpet every chance you get?
