No.

Will anyone be answering yes here? Maybe if Dave Leip posts the next person may say yes.

I would like to think so, but whether or not I'd have the guts to, well, I guess I wouldn't know until placed in that situation.

No. I wouldn't die to save my own family, let alone strangers.

Yes.

Yes to everyone above probably. In a situation like that, the life of someone else is worth more than my own by virtue of being someone elses life.

I don't have a deathwish though! It's just how I evaluate things.

No, not that I dislike afleitch - he's quite a fine fellow. However, unlike him I don't see his or my life as being inherently different in value. However, subjectively I find mine to be more important to me. There are people whose lives I would value more than my own, but those people are close to me.

It's a selfish way of thinking, perhaps, but oh well.

Thanks, GM3PRP, I love you too.

As for Inks, maybe. It'd depend on the situation.

Ooh.  Tough choice.  I'd say yes, although it would depend if I chicken out or not if the need arose.  Hopefully, we don't have to find out. Smiley

No, because as a non-Christian I'd then have to go straight to Hell.

No, because as a non-Christian I'd then have to go straight to Hell.

No, but then again if there were a situation where Rob was getting attacked on the street and I stepped in to stop the violence and accidentally got killed that might be another matter.

Obviously I would step in to protect the lives of my family members and close friends. Otherwise it would be more a case of accidentally dying while intervening to stop injury to another.
