I'm pretty sure I remember them saying something about it being time for a change this year...

Yet another reason, if true, to not like Pepsi.  Smiley

Other than being circular and red, white and blue, I see no similarities. Since the old Pepsi logo was also circular and red, white and blue, I see no evidence that it was based on Obama's logo.

Pepsi is being patriotic by supporting our new President.

Coke, and Republicans are not being very patriotic by opposing our President.

The entire topic is hilarious:

"I've always sensed that Pepsi was the preferred cola by blacks and other non-whites. Pepsi seems to be tied in to the franchises favoured most by negros and Mexicans, for example. I don't have any statistics to back that up, but that's my perception based on how I see the two drinks marketed. The similarity between the new logo and Obammy's do seem suspiciously "coincidental.""

"I gave sodas up almost a year ago. I am much less tired without the caffeine and HFCS keeping me up all night, sapping my energy and giving me a heavy dose of empty calories. I don't want to get too preachy, but it would be a good idea for all White Nationalists to boycott the soda companies. It will save you money and your health."

"Yes, boycott, whether you drink Pepsi or Coke or colas - it doesn't matter. This is the kind of subliminal brainwashing that we're talking about - you stop, you point it out to someone and make them aware of how you are being inundated everyday with little messages about what to believe and how to think. IT'S NOT JUST A LOGO! It's a delivery method to get you to accept Obongo Bi-nla -den, if just through the logo for starters."

Haha, so sad. It is even scary in a way that people can believe such things. Scary world out there.

Historically,  Republicans have promoted Pepsi and Democrats have promoted Coke.
