As it has become a semesterly tradition on the forum, we need a thread in which we attention whore a little bit and discuss eachothers' academic futures.

So, what subjects are you taking this semester?

I'm taking:

SPAN3001 - Intermediate Spanish I (3rd year Spanish course part 1)
ENGL1004 - Introducting Australian Literature (1st year English course, pre-req for a course I need to take in semester two)
HIST2141 - The Cold War 1945-1989 (For the American Studies major)
POPS2001 - Population and Society (I have a spare subject, and this was interesting. Not sure if I meet the prereqs though, so I might have to do a random first year politics course)

ANU have decided to make us enroll for semester two as well, and so i'll be taking:

SPAN3002 - Intermediate Spanish II (finishing my Spanish major whoo!)
POLS2101 - Refugee Politics (re-run, I failed first time round because I got lazy...)
ENGL2005 - Democratic Vistas (only course offered this semester that counts towards American Studies major, and the course that means i'm doing a first year english course in 3rd year...)
HIST2119 - City Life and Suburban Dream (explores the history of the development of Australian cities. It's always interested me, and because I cant do anything that counts towards my second major, I might as well do this!)
