This refers to something along the lines of C-SPAN. I realized a few days ago that all four levels of my government are televised on local access TV.

Non-Americans should vote for the closest equivalent or something.

Currently just federal, but soon also state.

Plus state audio is currently webcast. I'm looking forward to the new channel to which Platypus refers - I think it's due out within the next couple of weeks - either commencing on Australia Day or by Australia Day (I think).

There's CSPAN of course. Georgia Legislative Network airs online, I doubt it but it might be on public tv or something. I think the county government's meetings air on local public access. And, I don't live in a city.

As for college, I have no idea about the status of Louisiana or New Orleans parish/city.

Fed does of course, and Im pretty sure the state does at least online, if not also sometimes on public television. I used to subscribe to the PA house Dems podcast, until I realized how effing boring it was. (That was about 2 minutes in.)

House of Commons goofs insulting each other are televised on CPAC (as are Senate committees full of sleepy heads). I've never watched OLG (Ontario Legislature), mainly because every time I fall on it, it's closed and there's music playing that makes me want to destroy the TV.

Federal. I think Provincial too, but I don't get it. For some reason though, I get BC's legislature channel...

Austin City Council meetings are broadcast, as are school board meetings. I don't think Travis County has any governing body (i.e. everything is done at the city level) but I might be wrong. I've never seen the Texas legislature on TV, but then again, I've never really looked for it.

County freeholder meetings air on cable access.  Can't say I've ever seen state or municipal though

Federal and provincial. The local community channel shows City Hall debates for important things.

How do I find this information out? I love C-SPAN and wouldn't mind getting the other levels on TV as well.

Federal and State.  City on the internet, but I don't think County is.
