I don't get why everyone's harping on Crist. I really don't think the gay issue is something that will get too much play, and if it does, only to the degree that the Obama is a Muslim lies got anywhere. Otherwise, he's a popular, moderate Governor of a swing state. However, he, like Jindal, will probably wait until 2016.

Competence really isn't something consider when they vote for President, unless the candidate clearly is not (see Palin, Sarah).
