Nope, 2 out of 3.

President Obama
Congresswoman Tauscher

and Mayor Abram Wilson lost for State assembly to Joan Buchanan. I was so dissapointed, he was such a good and nice man. I hope he runs again in 2010 or for the senate in 2012.

I voted 33% Libertarian, 33% Republican, and 33% Democrat for partisan offices, I am the true moderate hero

And because I live in the East Bay, I can't say I won

I didn't vote obviously. My mother voted for the winners in the State Legislature races, but she voted for losers for Representative & President.

Just because he was qualified was no reason to vote for him.

2/3 did. McCain won by state, so I could argue everyone I voted for won locally.

President - No
Attorney General - Yes
State Treasurer - No (skipped this office in protest)
Auditor General - No
U.S. House - No (write in)
State Senate - No (skipped this office in protest)
State House - Yes

Technically, because I didn't vote for anyone for two of those offices, I went two out of five.

Technically the only position I voted for the winner in was President, and he did not even carry my state. TX-03 for you.

President - Yes
Gov - Yes
Lt. Gov - Yes
Sec of State - Yes
Treasurer - No
Auditor - Yes
AG - No (Darn McKenna)
Comm of Public Lands - Yes
Insurance Comm - Yes

House - Yes

State Rep 1 - Yes
State Rep 2 - Yes
County Commisioner #1 - Yes
County Commisioner #2 - Yes

So I went 12 for 14, though I think I could have been coaxed into voting democratic for treasurer if a better effort had been made (I really did not have a huge preference between the two candidates/I really wanted Chang Mook Sohn).

If I remember correctly I was 1 for 6.  That's actually pretty good for me, I had no winners in '04 or '06...again, if I remember correctly.

4 out of 8 won.  (2 were unopposed though)

(Technically it would be 5 out of 8 as the electors for John McCain won my state and cast their votes accordingly, though he isn't taking office tomorrow Tongue)

Yes. (if you count Franken)

With *correction* Coleman (freudian slip?) now gone, my entire representation in congress and the Minnesota legislature is DFL dominated.  The only Republican that "represents" me is now Tim Pawlenty.

Come to think of it, even among non-partisan offices the only ones where I lost was the county judge one (where I voted for David Piper who lost to Jane Ranum) and the Supreme Court seat where I wrote in Bill Ayers. Granted most judges ran unopposed. I also voted against that Minneapolis School Board referendum deal that passed.

I live in Wayne County.  Pretty much the exact opposite happened.
