I believe it was Kennedy, but his son died shortly after.
Or Bill Clinton if some of the articles I have read are correct....

I was gonna say! Dogs count as family.
I read an article in TIME from Setpember, and in it Michelle says that she considers the campaign as her third child. So... I doubt it.

I don't think they'll have any more kids, Michelle is already 45 years old.

On the GOP side, for 2016, look out for Gov. Phill Kline (KS), Gov. Ralph Reed (GA), Gov. JD Hayworth (AZ), Sen. David Vitter (LA), among others.

Well, Michelle's mother is moving in with them, I believe, but she's technically not an Obama. So, I voted no based on technicalities.

She is only going to help with the kids as they get accustomed to the new house. The White House won't be a nursing home for her or anything. Not that I really care if it becomes one.
I highly doubt a third child from the Obamas.

Good lord, with all the issues facing the country, the leg humpers of The Messiah focus on drivel like this and what kind of dog he's getting. This is really embarassing and it's out of control.

Although that statement was a bit strong, your point is correct. All this hubbub about the Obamas and their kids, along w/ their dog, is a bit over the top.

While I agree that the Obamania has gone over the top a bit there really hasn't been anything else to talk about since the election. Once Obama made his cabinet choices there was even less to discuss. Of course there are serious problems to be dealt with but its not like Obama could have enacted any policies or actually done anything that would have had a significant impact on anything up until now. Besides, sometimes its healthy to let your problems go and talk about something silly for a while. With so many things going bad I think the country should be forgiven for taking a few months off to talk about the Obama's dog.
