My friend at Cornell called today and said he was thinking about jumping into the icy gorge.

It got down to 4˚F here on Saturday night, but right now it's a nice 24.

I bet you wished that "global warming" was real, and not just a catch phrase from the totalitarians slogan book.

24 degrees is nice for you??? Huh

I'd be freezing if it's below 50 here.

This just proves that you have no understanding of the issue.

No. It's hard to read sarcasm online...

I'm a Charlestonian and it was 80 on Christmas day. I hate this cold weather. I thnk I've been having chills since I came back off break.

We haven't been above freezing since December 3rd... today we hit a balmy 28˚F... it felt positively tropical.

Tomorrow we will hit 31˚F... maybe we can squeak out the freezing mark.  But then another round of cold comes on Friday with -20˚F again by Saturday morning.

"Climate change" is quickly becoming the general term.

Climate change is more accurate. The planet is slowly growing warmer, but much more quickly the deviation in climate patterns is increasing.

It's 35 degrees here, a bit colder than normal. There's been a thick fog for about a week though.
