Include the district in the case of the representatives.
Note that your selections must be currently in office. In other words, no former senators or represenatives, only current members of Congress.
(Edit: This topic is about favorites, and now I posted a similar topic. It is about least favorites (see

Clearly the solution is to privatize presidential elections.
So, in less than four years, get excited for the 2016 MetLife Financial U Pick The Prez Extravaganza. If you tweet a picture of your completed ballot with the hashtag #ivoted, you could win a trip for two to the inauguration or an iTunes gift card.

This type of thread has been done about a million times on this forum, but seeing as I can't find its last iteration, I'll let it stay.

I have seen a similar thread myself, but it did not ask for representatives, only senators.

Boxer is way more of a B than Feinstein. She is so damn arrogant, and she sabotaged Bruce Herschensohn.

I have no idea who that is.
The "Queen" aspect is important. I don't really think you need to kiss Boxer's ring before requesting her to do something. Feinstein will actively work against you, even if she approves of what you're doing, unless you kiss her ring.

Bruce Herschensohn was her opponent in the 1992 senate race. Her squad caught him at a strip club shortly before the election, and immediately began sending the news to the media. He was the favorite to win the election before this happened.

Dawg, that has nothing whatsoever with her being arrogant. That just has to do with an under-the-belt campaign.

Ya, maybe arrogant isn't the right word, but from what I've seen on CSPAN, she is a real loud mouth on the senate floor.

Ronnie, Feinstein is a rather inept cowardly relative dumb. Under pressure, she succumbs like soft butter does to a knife. Boxer is no rocket scientist, but she is a bit smarter, and has balls, and I respect that. Obviously, I prefer that someone like Torie (to pick a name at random
) represented California. Another observation, is that the talent pool of Pubbies in California is about as deep as the Rio Grande in the dry season.
By the way, about 10 years ago or so, Boxer went to charm school, got a new "do," and became considerably less of the uber bitch that she once was. No, I am
not
making this up; it's true!

Speaking loud is just the characteristics of an idealogue. You don't need to kiss Boxer's ring and tell her that she's great and that you respect her authoritah to get her to do whatever you want to do. Boxer does what she wants to do, which is a big diff.
I don't agree with Torie's last post in some respects though. I decline to say in which ways

I'm sad to see people skip Washington when they did the other 49 states.

Me - Michaud
NH - I have no special fondness for any and would have to do research to arrive at a pick.
Vt - Sanders
MA - I have (etc). Probably Barney Frank.
RI - I have (etc)
Ct - I have (etc)... note that in some of these cases I'm ruling some people out.
NY - Rangel
NJ -
Not
Andrews, Lautenberg, or any Republican, that's for sure. But is any of the Democrats better?
Pa - Murtha seems nice.
Oh - Brown?
In - Carson. Though is mom was even greater.
Il - Hare
Mi -
God and the Unions
Dale Kildee
Wi - Feingold
Mn - Ellison
Ia - Braley
Mo - Cleaver?
ND - I like them all and have no clue who to pick.
SD - Steph
Ne - I have no fondness for any. But the Leg has that great Morgan Freeman lookalike!
Ks - Mmmm... the sole Dem for default reasons I guess... not particularly content with the pick, though... can't even think of his name right now... would have to look into the Rep Reps a bit before confirming that.
De - Kaufman. No contest.
Md - Donna Edwards seems okay. Bartlett for sheer hilarity.
Va - No idea. Glenn Nye just for the upset win and the awesome name.
WV - Byrd or Mollohan.
At least they're neither Rahall nor a Rockefeller...
NC - no idea.
SC - Spratt. Gotta admire him.
GA - I have this positive idea of Barrow that is probably unfounded, so him.
FL - uh... yeah... uh... Allen Boyd? Corrine Brown? Sam says Grayson is a loon, so maybe him?
KY - Senator Bunning provides welcome entertainment.
TN - Seriously, would take research to tell between Cooper and Gordon. But right now I'll vote for Phil Roe, for his name, his primary win, and because TN Mountain Men Moderates ftw.
AL - Bobbie Blue, or whatever his surname is. Brown. Bright. Something like that.
MS - Thompson
AR - no spesh affection for any.
LA - Joseph Cao
OK - I'm not fond of Boren, but given the company he keeps...
TX - Ciro
MT - Tester. For the looks.
ID - One-term Congressman Walt Minnick.
WY - Barrasso (unenthusiastic). Can someone explain to me why Wyoming and Idaho keep electing Italian Senators, anyways?
CO - DeGette
NM - Probably Heinrich... he has the right first name, anyhow!
AZ - Grijalva
UT - eh, Matheson. Given the company he keeps...
NV - Reid. Everybody loves an ineffective.
Wa - McDermott
Or - Blumenauer
Ca - Hmmm... so many to chuse from. Barbara Lee? Hilda Solis, just for primarying that Martinez bloke?
Ak - Gotta go with Don Young.
Hi - Abercrombie or Hirono - I'd have to know more about Hirono to pick here. Akaka is cool, but getting too old.
Some of these picks are based on ridiculously little information.
